4 Peanut Butter Hacks to Make Your Pantry Jelly

Milk and cookies. Netflix and chill. Peanut butter and jelly. Some things are just better together. But when you’re living that bulked life, the thrill comes in the creativity…. and variety.

These days, peanut butter has options. Sure, it gets along with jelly just fine, but why rest when there are so many other delicious pairings to explore? C’mon, you know you can’t look at that gorgeous 96 oz. double pack of Skippy Peanut Butter without dreaming of all the deliciously decadent things you’re going to spread it on.

We lived that peanut buttery thought experiment and, in honor of National Peanut Butter Day, compiled four peanut butter recipes to help you spread the love.

Peanut Butter Popcorn

Mind your p’s with this peanut butter popcorn recipe from Kitchn. First, pick your peanut butter — we’re partial to Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter & Co’s Smooth Operator  — then add sugar, honey, popcorn (we went with Skinny Pop), and vanilla extract.

Proceed to eat your heart out.

Peanut Butter Oreos

The simplest solutions are often the most elegant — and in this case, the most delicious. We think that Oreos go with everything (like wine, for example), but peanut butter and Oreos just have chemistry. Mouth-watering, I-want-to-be-alone-with-these-guys-in-a-room chemistry.

And if you want to adjust your peanut butter to cookie ratio (hey, we all have different needs), slathering some Peanut Butter & Co Smooth Operator on Oreo Minis intensifies the peanut buttery goodness. Bonus: These look damn elegant as a passed h’ors d’oeuvre, even it’s just a party of one. While sharing may be caring, sometimes, you just gotta do you.

Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

There are days when we think we’d give up coffee if we could have this peanut butter hot chocolate on the reg. But then we laugh because we love coffee and need it to survive. So we’ll just say this is a close second in the “hot beverages close to our heart” category.

We love this recipe from Eat, Live, Run. We substituted the unsweetened cocoa powder, milk, sugar and vanilla for Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa.

For a heartwarming start (or end) to your day, you can’t go wrong with peanut butter hot chocolate.

Peanut Butter Ramen

Ramen: It’s affordable. It’s delicious. When you add peanut butter and Sriracha to it, it gets even hotter — we’re talking spice and protein for DAYS.

We know, we know. We just blew your mind. We’re still breathing heavily after eating this, so we totally get it.

This peanut butter ramen hack from Mic was a true mic-drop moment.

There you have it, Boxed fam. Four new peanut butter recipes as smooth as you. Happy peanut butter-ing.
