This two-ingredient queso dip is sure to be a total touchdown with guests. It’s a great appetizer on game day and every day — especially when paired with crunchy tortilla chips to scoop up all the cheesy goodness.
1 lb. (16 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 can (10 oz.) RO*TEL Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, undrained
Combine ingredients in microwaveable bowl.
Microwave on HIGH for five minutes or until VELVEETA is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after three minutes. Set out near a bag of chips and watch it disappear.
Irresistible Beer and Cheese Dip
The only thing better than beer and cheese is when beer and cheese team up in one bowl. This hearty dip is perfect when paired with Snyder’s Pretzels.
1/4 cup of Stout or Porter
1/4 cup of Dijon Mustard
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
16 oz. bag of shredded sharp cheddar
1 jalapeno, minced (optional)
1. Combine the beer, mustard, butter, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan on medium heat until well mixed.
2. Gradually add the cheese, in 1 cup batches, whisking until the texture is smooth. Stop adding cheese once you have achieved your desired thickness;remove from heat and stir in minced jalapeno.
Note: for a tangier taste, reduce the shredded cheese to 8 ounces and add one 8-oz packages of cream cheese
