9. Hot Dog Bites
July 4th is synonymous with grilling, cookouts… and hot dog eating contests. An annual tradition since 1972, world champion professional eater Joey Chestnut has been known to put away 70 hot dogs, but we prefer the more palatable bite-size form.
Just take Libby’s Vienna Sausage, which are already bite-sized, wrap them in crescent roll dough, and bake until golden. We also like to slather the inside of the pastry with mustard. Then serve with good ol’ American Heinz Ketchup.
10. Coca-Cola Ribs (or Wings!)
Coca-Cola is the secret ingredient in this sweet ‘n’ juicy ribs recipe, combining Coca Cola with brown sugar and soy sauce to make a succulent marinade for ribs while you can bake or grill. Works just as well on chicken wings.

11. Grilled Pizza Skewers
Pizza is the food Americans eat the most, so we thought, What if we gave grilled skewers, that July 4th staple, the pizza treatment? Inspired by this pizza skewers recipe, we marinated cubed chicken in Barilla Marinara Sauce overnight, then threaded the chicken on skewers along with pizza dough strips, grape tomatoes, and peppers. Just before grilling, we sprinkled on Kraft Grated Mozzarella for a cheesy finish.
July 5th, UnBoxed
July 4th is a time to celebrate America and all it stands for: Freedom. Family. The American Dream. And if you’re like us, that dream includes eating some amazing BBQ. If ketchup could talk, it would say so many things beyond that weird noise it makes when you squeeze the bottle a little too hard. As you get ready for fireworks this year, take a moment to check out how much ketchup and drinks the Boxed nation ordered across America this past year. Here is July 4th, unBoxed:
